A new powerful androgen called LJ100 is becoming increasingly well known among atheletes. LJ100, DHEA, SHBG, & FREE TESTOSTERONE:

In a double blind, randomized, placebo controlled human clinical study conducted at the National Population and Family Development Board of Malaysia, 7 male patients between the age of 31 to 52 were given 100mg of LJ100® while 7 were on placebo for 3 weeks.  Testosterone, DHEA, and SHBG level were evaluated.

Analysis of DHEA showed gradual increase in the level from 26% after 1 week to 47% after 3

weeks.  SHBG analysis showed reduction in 36% of the patients after one week, and 66% after 3 weeks.  When SHBG level declines, the Free Testosterone Index

 

(FTI) goes up.  FTI analysis showed an escalation of 39% of subjects after 1 week and 73% after 3 weeks. Free Testosterone result in improved energy level, metabolism, strength, and sexual stamina.

In another research, 9 healthy men were recruited between the age of 26 and 52, and were given 50mg LJ100 supplement, twice daily for 10 days.  Group 1 (n=5) engaged in daily exercise while Group 2 (n-4) do not exercise.   Saliva Testosterone Test were evaluated at day 0 (baseline) and day 10.  The study was repeated 3 times and data is based on the average.  No placebo were used in this experiment.  Normal range for athlete 800 = 1500ng/dl of blood.  Group 1 that engaged in regular exercise experience a significant increase in free testosterone from 70% to 132%.  Group 2 that do not engaged in regular exercise experience an increase in free testosterone of  of 35% to 70%

THE ERGOGENIC EFFECTS OF LJ100 (Published:  British Journal of Sport Medicine 2003; 37: 464-470)

Fourteen healthy adult males (age 25.64  3.73 years) received either 100 mg/day LJ100 (22% Bioactive Eurypeptides) (n = 7) or placebo (n = 7) for 8 weeks. Simultaneously, both groups performed an intensive strength training programs.   Results showed that the LJ100 group significantly increase Fat free mass (FFM), reduce Body fat percentages (FM), increase gross muscle power (1RM), increased significantly arm circumference, and decrement in the mean sEMG reading.  These may be due to elevated testosterone level & increase metabolism rate.

 ANDROGEN BIOSYNTHESIS
Testosterone stimulates metabolism, which promote fat burning, increases the formation of red blood cell, and accelerates muscle growth.  In vitro study has shown LJ100 to significantly increase testosterone level.

Testosterone is synthesized by an enzymatic sequence of steps from cholesterol to Pregnenolone and DHEA via CYP 17 (17-hydroxylase/17,20 lyase), and ultimately converted to testosterone.    CYP 17 is involves in the early stage of steroid biosynthesis.  In a research conducted at MIT, scientists had proven that the Eurypeptides in LJ100 activates CYP17 enzymes, which enhanced the metabolism of pregnenolone and 17-OH pregnenolone to yield more dehyroepiandrosterone (DHEA).  CYP 17 also enhanced the metabolism of progesterone and 17-OH progesterone to 4-androstenedione.  This process is important in testosterone biosynthesis as DHEA and 4-androstenedione will be directly converted to testosterone.  Testosterone and progesterone increased significantly by 180% and 190% respsctively.    Low amount of pregnenolone and 17-OH pregnenolone also suggests that Eurypeptides in LJ100 is actively converting pregnenolone into progesterone and 17-OH pregnenolone into DHEA.

The expression of CYP17 gene compared to the positive control (hCG),  suggesting that more CYP 17 enzyme is being produced, which will enhanced the metabolism of pregnenolone to yield more DHEA, which will ultimately be  converted to testosterone. 

 

LJ100, CORTISOL, TYROXINE, & IGF1: (Published:  International Journal of Andrology, Vol 28, 6/05)

In a human clinical trial involving 20 male volunteers of various health conditions from the ages of 38 to 58 were randomly given either 200,400,600 mg of LJ100 (22% Bioactive Eurypeptides) or placebo for 2 months.

 

 has found that the use of LJ100 increase DHEA by 47%, which is important as DHEA would subsequently be aromatized to testosterone.  Dr Tambi also found that LJ100 decreases Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).  By inhibiting SHBG, more Free Testosterone remains in the blood.  The additional testosterone improves energy and sexual function, increase metabolism, and help reduce body fat.  LJ100 also modulate Cotisol level, a steroid hormone that regulates blood pressure, cardiovascular function, the body's use of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.  The negative aspect of cortisol is increase appetite and obesity.  The positive benefits of high cortisol are enhancement of immune response during illnesses and body defense during health crisis.  

 

Growth Hormone

Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is produced and secreted by the pituitary gland. It peaks at adolescence and at age 60 decreases to about 25 % of the levels at 20 years old. HGH enters the liver and is converted into Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1), a natural anabolic growth factor.  IGF-1 regulates cellular growth and development; premature reduction in IGF-1 causes cellular apoptosis or cell death.  IGF-1 stimulates muscle bulk and lean body mass, helps burn fat, promotes healthy blood sugar level, and decreases LDL Cholesterol.  In the same human clinical trial, volunteers on LJ100 were found to have high normal level of IGF-1 and one volunteer, a 58 year old man whose IGF-1 level was in the low, increase to normal level at one week follow-up onwards. 

 

Anabolic Effects

LJ100 also greatly increases production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the basic unit of energy in the body.  By increasing ATP, overall energy and vitality are increased.  Most people want more energy and LJ100 provides it without hyperstimulation, jittery nerves or insomnia.  In a Malaysian study of 14 men, 7 subjects received 100mg of LJ100 daily, and 7 on placebo.  After 8 weeks of intensive physical training program, the men who consumed LJ100 showed significant increment in fat free mass, greater decrement in body fat, increase in muscle mass and strength compared to the placebo group.  The decreased in fat mass of the LJ100 group is due to higher testosterone level and higher metabolic rate after consuming LJ100 as majority of volunteers on LJ100 showed high normal level of testosterone level and Thyroxine level compared to the placebo group.  Thyroxine is the major hormone secreted by the follicular cells of the thyroid gland.  Higher Thyroxine level means higher metabolism rate, increase calories burned, and better weight management.   Due to this significant discovery, a growing number of athletes and bodybuilders are now using LJ100 as an androgen to improve muscle size and strength, as well as to enhance sports performance.  Instead of turning to the use of dangerous and potentially lethal steroids, perhaps more athletes should opt for LJ100.  In Malaysia, many professional field hockey players use LJ100 as an androgen and swear to its performance-enhancing effects. 

 

Using LJ100

Dr Johari, Dr Tambi and other experts recommend around 100mg of LJ100 daily for men, and around 50mg for women, to boost Bioavailable testosterone, increase ATP production, increase IGF-1 level  and improve lean muscle mass.
